Hugo Claus (1929–2008) is and remains one of the greatest Belgian authors of all time. He is a wizard who thinks outside the box and tells the tale of the collaboration in Flanders, cinema in Rome, Vietnam, May ’68, the sexual revolution, the nuclear threat, ... This experience-exhibition doesn’t just paint a group portrait of Claus but also of the eventful second half of the twentieth century.
