CONTEXT: CANCELED Meet the Artist Valer Sabadus

The renowned 18th-century castrato singer Carlo Broschi is probably better known under his stage name: Farinelli. The celebrated Cologne baroque ensemble and the Romanian counter-tenor Valer Sabadus focus on the time Farinelli spent in Madrid. You will have an opportunity to savour Sabadus's dramatic, crystal clear, controlled singing in a number of magnificent arias. Sabadus is a BOZAR artist in residence this season, appearing in three concerts.
