The Theo van Doesburg exhibition proves an excellent occasion for rediscovering the literary work of I.K. Bonset, the legendary pen name of Van Doesburg the artist. BOZAR commissioned the Dutch sound poet Jaap Blonk – famous for his rendition of Kurt Schwitters’ Ursonate – to record Bonset’s poems. The poems will be played in the exhibition’s “Dada” room and have been issued on an exclusive vinyl single. A limited edition of 300 copies of “Jaap Blonk leest Theo Van Doesburg” have been released and the single is available from the BOZAR BOUTIK. Bonset’s poetry has also been reproduced in the literary visitor’s guide.
