Following the success of its first edition, the ITALIA IN DOC festival, organised by the Italian Cultural Institute of Brussels in partnership with BOZAR, is back to take another look at Italian documentaries. There are ten films in competition and two prizes up for grabs: the Public Prize and the Jury Prize. This year’s selection, with works from the biggest international festivals, offers a composite image of Italy through a plurality of languages. Of the films on the programme, a special mention goes to: Michele Santoro’s Robinù, about the ‘baby boss’ of the Neapolitan mafia; Alina Marazzi’s Anna Piaggi, which takes a look back over the life of the eccentric fashion journalist, friend of famous designers such as Lagerfeld and Versace, and Alex Infascelli’s S is for Stanley, which tells the remarkable tale of Stanley Kubrick’s personal chauffeur.
