Piano Concerto no. 1, op. 15 Johannes Brahms
Resilience, for organ and orchestra Wayne Oquin
Symphony no. 4, op. 120 Robert Schumann
Hélène Grimaud is returning in style to BOZAR. She is accompanied by one of the best American ensembles, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the charismatic Canadian conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin. They are interpreting Brahms’ richly textured Piano Concerto N° 1. The French pianist's close acquaintance with the piece has resulted in an authoritative recording. The programme also features Schuman's Symphony N° 4, whose third movement is one of the most famous melodies in the repertoire.
