With Singing Brussels, BOZAR is inviting you to turn our capital into a singing city. Whether you’re an adult or a child, a professional singer, amateur or a novice, come along and sing together as a choir! Add your voice to the huge choir which will form the highlight of the Singing Brussels Celebration Weekend on Sunday the 6th of May. In order to do so, take part in the workshops which will be held in BOZAR and outside in other locations. Paul Smith, member of the excellent English vocal ensemble Voces8, will guide you thanks to his unique learning method which is accessible to everyone.
During this musical weekend, we will invite around thirty amateur and professional choirs to sing protest songs – reflecting the The Sound of Change and BOZAR Occupied themes. You can also discover the brand new Belgian National youth choir BEvocaL. And how could you miss the breath-taking concert which, each year, brings together around 700 pupils from Brussels schools in the Henry Le Boeuf Great Hall in order to conclude the incredible international project that is Cantania!
