For the past two years Russian Turn developed into a rich multidisciplinary programme of encounters with prominent and emerging contemporary film and theater makers, writers, academics and artists from Russia and its many regions. With our partners and audiences we build a cultural exchange  platform striving to create new artistic forms and possibilities for dialogue.

In 2020, more than 90 years after the performance of Les Ballets Russes at the opening of the Centre for Fine Arts,  Russian Turn joins forces with the international festival Russian Seasons, to celebrate the long tradition of cultural exchanges between Russia and Belgium. With a selected program of  great musicians, daring choreographers and cutting edge film and theatre directors, we invite you to re-discover the contemporary Russian artistic scene.

Outside our walls, Russian Turn also develops a platform for exchange between professionals in the cultural field from across Russia and Europe. Two events – one in Belgium and one in Russia, for a targeted group of institutional workers, museum professional, artists and curators from both countries, will explore the art of community building.
