Artists from Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia together with Belgian artists have created a performative exhibition – tailored for the building of the Centre for Fine Arts – inspired by the centenary anniversary of the independence of the States of Central Europe. The main idea of the project was to get together the artists from the countries created at the end of WWI – “The War To End All Wars”, said with H.G. Wells – after signing the Treaty of Versailles. The artists will try to reflect all formative changes, which happened throughout those hundred years in their countries, in the new Europe or in the society in general. Avantgarde years and their heritage, life and work of three generations, quest for women’s equality...

The audience is invited to walk freely through the site specific environment where they can watch dance pieces, performative actions and video installations, unfold continuously, in loops of 90 minutes. The spectators are free to watch one action or another, making their own interpretation of the installation.
