ICI MATONGE XL is a moment of leisure, enhanced with a wealth of musical encounters from the Matongé neighbourhood, from Africa and elsewhere. The young artists from Matongé will perform their own compositions, with hip-hop, rap, slam and Coupé-Décalé influences at ICI MATONGE XL. Their unusual, socially-inspired, rich thematic repertoire is inspired by life on the streets of Matongé, in Brussels and in modern-day Africa. The struggle for equality and justice for all, the right to a good future, living together, cultural recognition…
