Jonas Kaufmann, renowned German tenor, returns to his roots. A musical journey takes him back to his early childhood, a time when his grandmother instilled in him her passion for Vienna’s musical heritage. The young tenor went on to make his stage debut in A Night in Venice by Johann Strauss Jr. During his international tour, Kaufmann offers us an ode to Viennese music and its most famous operettas, and on this occasion, presents his new record, Wien (Sony Classical), which was recorded with the Vienna Philharmonic. Prepare to be swept into a waltz!
