Organist, harpsichordist, conductor … The Italian Andrea Marcon is clearly a man of many musical talents. He has mastered almost all the keyboard instruments and is celebrated for his poignant directions of Baroque music. For this concert, he takes on the role of organist to fill the stately Brussels cathedral with grandiose organ music. Sitting at the ‘king of instruments’, he will conjure sumptuous sounds by respected composers such as Dietrich Buxtehude, Girolamo Frescobaldi, Bernardo Pasquini and Alessandro Scarlatti.
