With the patronage of the European Commission, the European Parliament, UNESCO Brussels, the Italian Embassy to Belgium, the Italian Permanent Representation to the EU, Tuscany region, the event is the flagship event of the “Leonardo 4 Children” non-profit initiative.

The concert will include 10 selected fables of Leonardo da Vinci interpreted in classical music, based on the partitions of the young European composers who won the competition “Leonardo 4 Children” which closes on 15th May 2019 and whose winners will be selected by June 2019.
The event will follow the EU Education Summit taking place in Brussels the same day, and feature keynote speeches, exhibition and award ceremony for the European winners of the “Leonardo 4 Children” competitions on the fables of Leonardo da Vinci illustrated by 6-12 years old children, interpreted in music by young composers 18-30 years old, and on “Art & Science” combination by 13-18 years old teenagers.
The event would allow to raise funds in favour of children in need, in particular orphans, abandoned and refugees, in a project outside the EU (to be selected via open call by May 2019), to stimulate their creativity with art and science education.
