LIVE MUSIC SHOWCASE

Author, composer and singer, OLADÉ is embarking on a new solo career, after her long international stage experience with the Trio Teriba vocal group, of which she was a member for around fifteen years. Accompanied by her musicians and singing in Fongbé (her native Benin language), she will present her first solo project, born from the artistic maturity she acquired over the years, and a combination of her country’s traditional rhythms and sounds from other places. The concert is made possible thanks to a collaboration between MANDJi and BOZAR.

MANDJi is a Belgian association that, for ten years, has accompanied and supported musicians in Africa through different activities (masterclasses, workshops, etc.). It also organises cultural events in Belgium to enable the public and professionals from the cultural sector (journalists, managers, labels, etc.) to discover new musical projects and new talent in relation to Africa.

Part of the FORUM Programme collaboration between Africa Museum & BOZAR, funded by the Belgian Development Cooperation.
