The Hagen Quartett turns 40 in 2021, and that is something to celebrate. They will perform twice in the Henry le Boeuf Hall this season. This quartet remains among the best in the world with its flawless interplay, stylistic versatility and unique timbre. They will put these qualities to good use in this programme of two scintillating Mozart string quartets. They will then be joined by star pianist Igor Levit for Shostakovich’s Piano Quintet.
