Having lost his oldest son in the war between Russia and Ukraine, Mustafa resolves to bring the boy’s body to the land of his birth: Crimea. Together, he and his younger son set out on a journey that will profoundly mark their relationship.

Born in 1992 in Crimea, Ukraine, Nariman Aliev is an Ukrainian director and writer. In 2014 he graduated from Kyiv National Theatre, Film and Television University, as a director. He is a member of the Ukrainian Film Academy since 2017. Narima Aliev directed three short films united in the movie trilogy Crimean Stories, each of his works was screened at national and international festivals (including Berlinale, Moscow IFF, Vancouver Film Festival).
