In a mix of fiery discourse, heated debate and performative creativity, three voices, originating in different fields of Haiti’s contemporary artistic landscape, bring to the stage a unique breath amid the tumult of the world. A way of exploring the beating heart of a country that, although long relegated to the fringes by the economic barometer of the “major powers”, brings its share of light to humanity and constantly claims its place among the living by drawing on an artistic wealth. From literature to music, including theatre and other forms of expression, a whole constellation of worlds is opened up in which a poetics of resistance takes shape.
