In the context of the Watteau exhibition we have organised a number of related events designed to throw more light on Watteau's work and times. Adults can learn more from a series of talks given by renowned musicians, historians of art, and musicologists. During visits to the exhibition they will also be able to read and listen to extensive extracts from Maîtres et serviteurs, a short story about the painter's life written by Pierre Michon - who will be present in person for a special evening event. Families and the very young have not been forgotten either: they can explore a special discovery trail and take advantage of several days of courses for children, which combine a visit to the exhibition with creative workshops.
