BOZAR LITERATURE welcomes one of the greatest French writers of our time. Pierre Michon (born in 1945) has enjoyed cult status for some years now, thanks to literary gems such as his autobiographical debut, Vies minuscules (Small Lives, 1984), and his best-selling novel Les onze (The Eleven, 2009). Painting plays a prominent role in Michon's work: he has, for example, written some excellent short stories about the lives of artists such as Watteau, Goya, and Van Gogh. In the course of an exclusive BOZAR encounter, Michon will be interviewed by the Belgian writer Grégoire Polet They will talk about his extensive oeuvre and his love of the art of painting. The evening will end with Michon reading from his own work.
