THEATER OP DE MIDDAG presents today's world onstage. Mokhallad Rasem from Iraq and Sadettin Kirmiziyüz from Turkey look at their homelands and cultures. Clara van den Broek and Bernard Dewulf talk frankly about their families. There will also be playful work from Pascale Platel, Lazarus, and Olympique Dramatique. The writers Benjamin Van Tourhout, Lars Norén, and Jon Fosse highlight the fragility of marital love. And "strange" is surely an appropriate description for Een Lolita, with Els Dottermans and Frank Focketyn. An enjoyable, highly diverse programme.
