Symphony no. 3 Gustav Mahler

CONTEXT: 19.00 Lecture-performance with David Ramael & Boho4 String Quartet

We are delighted to welcome back Iván Fischer and his Budapest Festival Orchestra, who have dazzled us in so many concerts, including an unforgettable evening devoted to Wagner. This time, this specialist in late Romanticism treats us to Mahler's Third Symphony, in which the orchestra is joined by a female choir, a children's choir, and a contralto. The symphony is a hymn to nature, at once grandiose and moving; through its imposing orchestral texture, we glimpse the fragile beauty of Creation.
