A+ Architecture in Belgium, Bozar and Design Museum Gent are pleased to invite the English architectural practice Carmody Groarke to give a lecture about their work. Andy Groarke will explain the aims and ambitions behind their first project in Belgium, the Design Museum in Ghent.
Kevin Carmody and Andy Groarke founded their architectural practice in London in 2006. Since then, the practice has developed an international reputation for working on a wide range of arts, cultural, heritage and residential projects.
Carmody Groarke have designed many critically acclaimed buildings, winning several architectural awards, including Building Design’s ‘Architect of the Year’ and several RIBA Awards. They recently won, in association with Belgian practices Trans and Re-st, the competition for the extension of the Design Museum in Ghent, due to be completed by 2023.
