This award honours an event which has managed to double the number of its visitors thanks to a high quality line-up, bringing together cutting edge musicians, high profile electronic music producers and highly respected names from the world of experimental music.

Make sure you save the date for the next edition of BEAF - which will take place between 28 and 30 September. The exhibitions will already begin on 14 September.

The “Art on Paper” art fair, a collaboration with BOZAR, won the visit.brussels Award 2017 in the “International Congress & Fair 2016” category and Picasso. Sculptures, the BOZAR BRASSERIE and the Difference Day (a coproduction of BOZAR, the VUB and the Evens Foundation) were also nominated in the categories of “Most Noted Exhibition 2016”, “Best Gastronomic Concept 2016” and “International Congress & Fair 2016”.

    Belgian Red Devil player visits BOZAR

    Last May, Belgian Red Devil player and experienced Paris Saint-Germain defender Thomas Meunier paid a visit to BOZAR. This was an opportunity for the star footballer to strengthen his cultural links.

    STARTS stands for Science, Technology, and Arts and is an initiative of the European Commission to promote cooperation between science, technology, and the arts. Part of the STARTS Initiative is the prestigious STARTS Prize, which is awarded annually by Ars Electronica from Linz, BOZAR and Waag Society.
