The rediscovery of the Brussels caravaggist painter Theodoor van Loon continues. After his impressive retrospective at BOZAR, Van Loon travels to Luxemburg, where a selection of his works will be shown at the MNHA (National Museum of Art and History).

The exhibition runs in Luxemburg from February 15 to May 26. More info

    Words matter. Words reflect our world but also shape it. Language includes some and excludes others. BOZAR takes part in Smashing Wor(l)ds: Cultural Practices for re/Imagining & un/Learning Vocabularies, an ambitious European project that explores vocabularies, languages, and narratives of resistance in order to build new forms of expressions.

    Tribute to conductor Patrick Davin

    It is with deep sorrow that we learn of the death of Belgian conductor Patrick Davin. This eminent musician and pupil of René Defossez, Pierre Boulez and Peter Eötvös was a regular guest of BOZAR, where he performed on the Henry Le Bœuf stage on numerous occasions.

  • BOZAR makes you feel better

    After all the uncertainty of the last few months, we are pleased to welcome you back to BOZAR. We can’t do that with the programme we originally planned, but a modified offering that allows us to meet again in the safest of circumstances. To enable us to adapt as best we can to the changing circumstances and to welcome you back under the best conditions possible, we are still developing some of our programme. If you keep following us throughout the season, we will do our best to keep you up to date. Because there’s one thing you can be sure of in all this uncertainty: although we will have to host smaller audiences at the a time, the artistic quality will be undiminished!
