Over the coming months, Bebat is forming a partnership with Gallery of Futures, an exhibition around climate and ecology running until April 2021. As part of this collaboration, Bebat has asked the young artists’ collective Gilbard to design a battery disposal box.

As a partner of Gallery of Futures, Bebat wants to increase public interest in battery disposal and raise greater awareness of the importance of battery recycling. The design was created by one of the participating artists’ groups: the Gilbard collective of Anderlecht. The artists are used to working with recycled construction and creative materials such as wood, metal and paper. The box will be allocated a space in the BOZAR vestibule for the duration of the exhibition.
