Branford Marsalis has always been a little more adventurous than his brother Wynton. He has performed with Sting and Miles Davis, he founded the band Buckshot Le Fonque and was the band leader on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In the past few years he has focused on more classical work, performing with several of the world’s leading orchestras (New York, Chicago, Tokyo, etc.). This evening he takes to the stage at BOZAR with the quartet he has been performing with for over 20 years. Always rooted in the great jazz tradition, albeit with a contemporary twist. Get ready for a concert of sultry ballads and some very rad Nu jazz.
