Maene's piano makes spectacular entrance on Bozar's rooftop

On the occasion of the Belgian National Orchestra's marathon on 17 September, a very exceptional piano came to our rooftop. A flashback to our Keith Haring exhibition, the finale of On Top of That, but also the opener of a brand new cultural season.

Last Sunday, the musicians of the Belgian National Orchestra festively closed the fourth and immediately last week of On Top of That, the summer programme on the rooftop of the Centre of Fine Arts. It was also the closing day of Bozar's Opening Week, the kick-off of the new season. Orlando Bass and Piet Kuijken had the honour of playing on the personalised piano, loaned by our loyal partner Piano’s Maene. The uniquely decorated instrument catapults us back in time to Keith Haring's exhibition in 2020. Art is for everyone!

In the video, relive the spectacular arrival of the piano, which, weighing more than 200 kg, was lifted to our roof via crane.
