‘EUROPEAN DEVELOPMENT DAYS’

Culture at Work Africa (2018-2021), un nouveau projet qui a pour objectif de soutenir en Afrique des projets qui favorisent le développement d’espaces de dialogue interculturel sûrs et neutres, renforcent la coopération multi-partenariale nationale et transnationale, le développement des compétences et les opportunités de mise en réseau, et promeuvent la citoyenneté et les relations intercommunautaires.

Culture at Work Africa est co-financé par l’Union Européenne et est mis en oeuvre dans 15 pays d'Afrique par Interarts; Arterial Network; Centre for Fine Arts – BOZAR; Culture et Développement; Regional Centre for the Living Arts in Africa – CERAV/Afrique; Culture Fund of Zimbabwe Trust; International Music Council - IMC; Committee on Culture of United Cities and Local Governments - UCLG, together with their associated partners Africa Centre for Cities of the University of Cape Town, the Economic Community of West African States - ECOWAS, and the Centre for Linguistic and Historical Studies through Oral Tradition - CELHTO.

Three-time Grammy award winner Angélique Kidjo is one of the greatest artists in international music today. Time Magazine, BBC, The Guardian, Forbes Magazine all list Angélique Kidjo as an iconic figure, among the most inspiring women, powerful celebrities of the African continent. She received the Crystal Award from the World Economic Forum in Davos and the Amnesty International Ambassador of Conscience Award in 2016. As a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Angelique travels the world advocating on behalf of children. She also created her own charitable foundation, Batonga, dedicated to support the education of young girls in Africa.
