Dream House Quartet, formed in 2018, is an ensemble that combines tradition with a new vision in radical ways. The people behind that vision are musicians to be reckoned with: Katia and Marielle Labèque on the piano and the composer/guitarists Bryce Dessner (The National) and David Chalmin (Trio Triple Sun). The all-star collective wends its way effortlessly from Dessner and Chalmin’s own compositions to work by Meredith Monk, Steve Reich and Thom Yorke, the frontman of Radiohead. The latter joined the quartet for a one-off appearance in their first project in 2019. Recently, in 2023, they released their first EP on Deutsche Grammophon. The quartet is prolonging its journey through musical worlds to call in at Bozar.
