Bozar Digital

Interactive, immersive, and playful digital media arts at Bozar

As digital technology transforms the ways we create, perceive, and tell stories, Bozar Digital continues to grow as a platform dedicated to immersive and interactive arts. It offers artists and creators across all disciplines a space to experiment with virtual reality, augmented reality, 360° cinema, and interactive works.

More than just an exhibition space, Bozar Digital is a genuine laboratory where art, technology, and audiences intersect. At the start of 2026, the Palais des Beaux-Arts invites everyone to explore new ways of experiencing and engaging with art. From January to June, the programme offers a rich and varied journey, featuring screenings, installations, and encounters with contemporary artists and thinkers.

Immersive Cinema

The monthly Immersive Cinema series focuses on virtual reality films - an art form that pushes the boundaries of storytelling. Each screening invites audiences to immerse themselves in 360-degree films and discover entirely new visual worlds, offering a complete sensory experience that challenges our understanding of imagery and narrative.

P for Power by Ho Tzu Nyen

This season shines a particular spotlight on the artist Ho Tzu Nyen, who addresses some of the most pressing political and philosophical questions of our time. His exhibition P for Power (6 February – 14 June) explores fundamental issues through a combination of in-depth research, popular visual culture, and technological innovation. The exhibition is accompanied by a filmmaker’s carte blanche and a curated selection of films resonating with his universe, enabling audiences to engage with his work in both a critical and reflective way.

Meet The Artist and Bozar Arcade

The programme also includes a range of other initiatives. Michel van der Aa’s virtual reality installation From Dust and the Lost Spaces parcours invite visitors to rethink their relationship with physical and digital environments. The Meet the Artist and Meet the Thinker sessions, featuring Ho Tzu Nyen and James Bridle, continue the dialogue around our interaction with images and technologies. Finally, Bozar Arcade, part of the Picture Perfect exhibition, offers interactive and playful formats that blend art and games for audiences of all ages.

Bozar Arcade's Manifesto

A 10-point manifesto guides our selection process for the video games we show in the Arcade.
