Safety measures COVID-19

From 4.12 onwards, wearing a face mask is compulsory throughout the Centre for Fine Arts from the age of 6, including in the exhibition halls. The Covid Safe Ticket remains in force.

Take your Covid Safe Ticket (CST) and ID with you

You are obliged to have a Covid Safe Ticket (everyone from 16 years old) to visit our exhibitions, school visits included.

Show your CST or QR code ( EU Digital COVID Certificate) in a printed version on paper or via the CovidSafeBE app or another accepted app (e.g. a non-Belgian app), as well as your identity card. Both documents are necessary to enter the exhibition. If you have a valid ticket for a Bozar exhibition but no CST, you can request a ticket refund. To ensure a smooth refund process, we ask you to fill in the form at least 5 days before your visit if possible. In order to obtain a refund for or cancel a group visit or a guided tour, please fill in this form.

It is recommended to buy your ticket online in advance. You can do this on the webpage of the exhibition you want to visit. When you buy your ticket, you choose the time slot of your choice. You do not have to print your e-ticket, we can scan it on your smartphone.

From 6.12 onwards, only activities with a maximum of 200 people will take place. For these, the CST and face mask will remain mandatory. Keep an eye on the event pages for any cancellations. If you already have a ticket for an event after 6.12, keep an eye on your mailbox for possible cancellations or events that will be postponed. Wearing a face mask is also compulsory from the age of 6.

1. Take your Covid Safe Ticket (CST) and ID with you

You are obliged to have a Covid Safe Ticket (everyone from 16 years old) for events in our halls, such as concerts, lectures, films...

Show your CST or QR code ( EU Digital COVID Certificate) in a printed version on paper or via the CovidSafeBE app or another accepted app (e.g. a non-Belgian app), as well as your identity card. Both documents are necessary to attend the event. The assigned numbered seat remains valid. If you have a valid ticket for a Bozar event but no CST, you can request a ticket refund. To ensure a smooth refund process, we ask you to fill in the form at least 5 days before the event if possible.

Thanks to CST, we can once again organise events with a full auditorium capacity. The air quality in the halls is permanently monitored.

2. Check your entrance
The Centre for Fine Arts now has four different entrances. A letter code on your ticket indicates which is your entrance: A, B, C or D. Watch the video below the measures for more information.

Entrance A : Rue Ravensteinstraat 23
Entrance B : Rue Ravensteinstraat 23
Entrance C : Rue des Sols
Entrance D : Rue Villa Hermosa

Exhibitions: Entrance A
Hall M and studio: Entrance B
Henry Le Boeuf hall, different entrances :
- Entrance A: Corbeille, 1st balcony and lounges
- Entrance C: Fauteuils
- Entrance D: 2nd balcony

3. Entrance = Exit
To leave the hall in safety and comfort, the entrance you used is also your exit after the event.

4. Bring your face mask
You wear a face mask throughout the whole building.

5. Your seat is safe
Thanks to the Covid Safe Ticket, Bozar again offers events with full room capacity. So you can once again - and safely - take a seat next to other people.

6. Digital concert programmes
We do not sell any paper concert programmes. For most concerts you can find your free programme on the webpage of the event. We offer two versions: one you can print at home and one you can consult during the performance on your smartphone (low light version).

7. Leave your coat in our cloakroom
Our cloakrooms are open again. You can store your coat or umbrella there before the show.

8. Extra toilet facilities
We have extended our toilet facilities. The colour indicated on your ticket and the signs around the concert hall will guide you to your designated bathroom area.

9. Drinks and snacks
Café Victor and Bozar Restaurant are open.

10. Groups
Group visits (with or without a guide) are only allowed with reservation. Check out our FAQs for groups for more information.

1. What about an antigen test?

A recent negative antigen test can result in a Covid Safe Ticket. This test can be taken maximum 24 hours ago. The result of your antigen test (done by medically trained personnel, no self-test) will be given (maximum) 4 hours after the test. Please note that you always need a QR code. The result of your antigen test must be demonstrable via a QR code in the app on your smartphone or printed on paper. Bozar does not accept other evidence such as the physical antigen test itself.

2. How do I show my QR code?

You can display your QR code via the app on your smartphone or printed on paper. As long as you have a scannable QR code, it is all right. Besides the Belgian CovidSafeBE app, you can also use any other (European) app, as long as it has an EU Digital COVID-19 certificate.
