The musicians of the Helsinki Philharmonic introduce you to a variety of musical genres in several chamber music formations. The works of Finland's greatest composer, Jean Sibelius, serve as a point of departure. Sibelius loved his homeland dearly and drew a lot of inspiration from the national Finnish epic poem Kalevala and the nation's folk music. This is a special day of music for families, young and old, music lovers, etc. In short, everyone is welcome to join in this adventure through chilly Scandinavia! This is followed by a closing concert by the Helsinki Philharmonic and Matti Salminen, who treat you to authentic Finnish tangos.
