‘Nordic Trail for Young and Old’

12 Oct.'19
- 16:30

The musicians of the Helsinki Philharmonic introduce you to a variety of musical genres in several chamber music formations. The works of Finland's greatest composer, Jean Sibelius, serve as a point of departure. Sibelius loved his homeland dearly and drew a lot of inspiration from the national Finnish epic poem Kalevala and the nation's folk music. This is a special day of music for families, young and old, music lovers, etc. In short, everyone is welcome to join in this adventure through chilly Nordics! This is followed by a closing concert by the Helsinki Philharmonic and Matti Salminen, who treat you to authentic Finnish tangos.

The concerts take place in the different rooms of BOZAR. Discover in the time schedule below which ensembles of the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra you can see at work.
