Every year, Sufi Night highlights the incredible cultural richness of the Sufi world. This year, BOZAR and Moussem invite Ghalia Benali, an artist internationally renowned for her talents as a singer, actress and painter. It was in Brussels, the town where she was born and where she settled back after a youth spent in Tunisia, that her musical career took off. At BOZAR, Ghalia Benali will lend her expressivity and unique vocal tone to underline the infinite poetry of Sufi texts, in the company of instrumentalist friends. Another distinguished guest, the writer and specialist on Islam Éric Geoffroy, will give a lecture on the current teachings of Sufi wisdom.
