Kuumba is the Flemish-African Centre located in the heart of Matongé, in Ixelles. It is where African and Flemish cultures meet to exchange, discuss and have fun. As a partner of the Afropolitan Festival, Kuumba is heading to Bozar and offering an afternoon of discovery and entertainment for children.
Program:
2-5pm: continuous face painting and African board games
3-3.30pm: reading session and event in Dutch
2-4.30pm: construction of Ghanaian clay liquorice with Nana Dankwa. Children under 6 years of age can only take part if an adult is present
4.30-5pm: Congolese dance
All children can participate and in any language, except for the reading session which will be in Dutch only.
