‘All the things I am ashamed of but will never tell you’

"By now I have tried to write this story many times, never finding the right words, or, upon finding them, overusing them to the point of obsolesce. The only solution I could find, was to allow the text to write itself, as haphazardly, and nonlinear as it needed to be".

At the finissage of "Somewhere in Between", Megan-Leigh Heilig will present a fragment of a performance piece made in collaboration with Stine Sampers. The performance resonates with the exhibition, which presents close-ups of emergent scenes, approaches to intimacy, subjectivity and most of all, vulnerability. It will be the first public realization of her ongoing trans-disciplinary project "All the things I am ashamed of but will never tell you" (2018)
