The sun revolves around itself. The earth revolves around itself and the sun. The moon revolves around itself, the sun and the earth. People turn around themselves. They only stop spinning when they look at the moon. People only see half the moon. And half the moon, like half the truth, is enough to make fools turn around themselves, round and round and round... A little bit of the moon by choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and director Rabih Mroué explores this spiral through a poetic blend of dance and theatre, where neither art form dominates.
This first Belgian performance searches for common ground—between bodies, voices, memory, and time—questioning friendship, dialogue, and the pull between past and future. Echoing De Keersmaeker’s Violin Phase, shown during Bozar’s Opening Weekend, the piece weaves stories, music, and fragments of movement into a quiet meditation on what brings us together—and what keeps us turning.
