‘Artist Talk with Bill T. Jones’

Bill T. Jones (1952) is an outstanding American choreographer, director, author and dancer. He is the co-founder of the Bill T Jones/Arnie Zane Company and nowadays the Artistic Director of New York Live Arts, a cutting edge incubation and presentation facility located in Chelsea, New York City.

This multi-talented artist will talk in BOZAR about race and sexuality, about the avant-garde and the New Wave in 1980 in New York and above all about his collaborations with Keith Haring on Secret Pastures (Brooklyn Academy of Music, 1983) and Long Distance (The Kitchen, 1982). In 1983 Keith Haring has body-painted Bill T. Jones. This was a great moment.​​​​​​​
