In the frame of the festival "1453 - From One World to Another"
The Estonian vocal ensemble and its conductor Jaan-Eik Tulve join BOZAR’s Festival 1453 - From one world to another. They have put together a programme entitled Au passage des temps, in which there is a transition from old to new music, from Gregorian chants to Arvo Pärt. Between the two extremes is the year 1453, the year in which the city of Constantinople fell and coincidentally also the year John Dunstable died. Gilles Binchois, Johannes Ockeghem and Dunstable are on the programme as representatives of this turbulent period.
