BAFF Festival 2026

From 9 to 15 November 2026, the BAFF – Brussels Art Film Festival – will celebrate its 25th anniversary at BOZAR, CINEMATEK, PALACE and ISELP.

This anniversary edition will once again focus on artistic creation through the eyes of filmmakers. Dance, music, photography, architecture, painting and performance will take centre stage in Belgian and international art documentaries.

At BOZAR, the Le 23 auditorium will host the Panorama International: a selection of films spotted at major international festivals and screened in preview. This programme, a true window onto international contemporary creation, offers unpublished works, emerging voices and unique visions from all corners of the world.

This 2026 edition will shine a spotlight on the bonds forged over the years between the festival and the artists featured in the films. An exceptional jury will bring together four figures who have left their mark on the history of the BAFF, and who have now been invited to present the national competition awards, having themselves been the focus of films screened by the festival.

BAFF will also feature a special focus on Lebanon, in solidarity with the Beirut Art Film Festival, BAFF’s sister festival. This special programme will bring together films and guests to explore the Lebanese art scene and the connections that artists continue to foster despite the divisions of the present day. For this is indeed the festival’s mission: to shine a light on the stories of those who build, repair, invent and shift our perspective on the world through the power of creation.
