Bai Kamara Jr and his quartet have an exciting mix of soul, funk, R&B and jazz in store for you at the Afropolitan Festival. 

Bai Kamara Jr., son of a former ambassador of Sierra Leone in Brussels, is a socially aware -singer-songwriter whose African roots come through in his music, which shows a mix of influences form soul and funk to R&B and jazz. He has shared a stage with major international artists such as Habib Koité, Cassandra Wilson, and Rokia Traoré. Kamara’s brilliance and versatility as songwriter can be appreciated on four earlier albums (Living Room, Urban Gipsy, Disposable Society and This Is Home) and on his 2017 album Kamara Jr Presents The Mystical Survivors and The Some Rare Earthlings vol chez T4A/PIAS.
