‘Belgian National Orchestra, Feddeck & Berezovsky’

Aram Khachaturian, along with Shostakovich and Prokofiev, is among the three most important composers of the Soviet period. Born in Armenia, he moved to Moscow at the age of 18. In 1937, he made his international breakthrough with his Piano Concerto, today performed by Boris Berezovsky. During this season, the Belgian National will be putting the Hungarian composer Béla Bartók in the spotlight. They will begin their adventure with the impressive ballet The Miraculous Mandarin.
