In conjunction with the screening of N - The Madness of Reason by Peter Krüger, BOZAR is delighted to welcome the man behind the texts, Nigerian writer Ben Okri, one of Africa’s most influential authors. In 1991 he won the Booker Prize for his novel The Famished Road. Okri has a vast and complex body of work that is tinged with spirituality. Influenced by Shakespeare, Montaigne and Blake, Ben Okri attempts to figure out our irrational nature. He will be speaking about his literary works in the company of Catherine Vuylsteke on the occasion of an exceptional public conversation.

Other events with Ben Okri:

March 5: Lecture and discussion "Can art save the world?" KVS, Brussels
March 6: Screening "N-The Madness of Reason" and presentation 'The choice of Ben Okri' at Cinema Zuid, Antwerp
