‘Benoît Mernier’

Benoît Mernier is very much at home at Bozar. He has given countless recitals here, and many of his own compositions have had their premieres in our Great Hall. He now treats us to an intense recital in the intimate surroundings of the Dominican church in the Jubilee Park. With transcriptions of composers such as Ravel, Debussy, Vierne, Widor and Duruflé, he focuses on French organ music of the late 19th and 20th centuries. However, the Brussels organist also has some surprises in store in his arrangements of Bartók's Romanian Folk Dances and Alain's Deux Danses à Agni Yavishta.
