War and Peace

The Belgian pianist Bernard Lemmens only rarely gives concerts. So don't miss this opportunity to hear a truly outstanding musician. In January 2013, La Libre Belgique gave him his due: "A great musician, strangely absent from the concert hall, suddenly recovered, amid his peers, the place he deserved. What was most extraordinary was how, despite absence, privation, and incredible neglect, Bernard Lemmens reminded us that evening, with the arrogance of someone who has nothing left to prove, of the extent of his talent, his radical commitment, his inexhaustible inventiveness, his absolute mastery of the keyboard..." The programme for this concert is made up of fascinating works that correspond to one of BOZAR MUSIC's themes for this season, "The Art of Conflict".
