‘Big Ears Listen With Feet - Ila Bêka & Louise Lemoine’

The Franco-Italian film duo Bêka & Lemoine take you on a breathtaking road movie across Thailand to follow Boonserm Premthada, one of the country's most famous contemporary architects. Deaf from birth, he has developed an architecture that is sensitive to sound vibrations. From the chaotic concrete jungle of Bangkok to rural communities, this film reveals how the architect's moving story has shaped his unique and sensitive approach to architecture.

Italian artist and filmmaker Ila Bêka and French visual artist Louise Lemoine have been working in duo for the past twenty years. They experiment with new narrative and cinematic forms questioning how people experience, perceive and relate to space through an emotional, social and cultural perspective.
