Book Signing with Berlinde De Bruyckere

As part of Arts at Night on Thursday 21 August, you’re warmly invited to a special book signing session with Berlinde De Bruyckere. The artist will be present between 7 and 8 pm in the Horta Hall to sign copies of the Khorós catalogue, published in collaboration with Mercatorfonds.
 
This richly illustrated English-language publication documents the Khorós exhibition at Bozar and brings together both recent and earlier works by De Bruyckere. Her powerful sculptures, installations and drawings are placed in dialogue with artists such as Lucas Cranach, Pier Paolo Pasolini and Patti Smith. With texts by Gary Carrion-Murayari, Selen Ansen and De Bruyckere herself, the publication explores the exhibition as a form of polyphony (khorós), where collective human experience and emotion take centre stage.
 
The catalogue (128 pages, hardcover, €29.95) is available at the Bozar Bookshop by Walther König.
 
The signing session is free and open to all, no ticket required.
