The Russian musician Boris Berezovsky is one of the most flamboyant pianists of his generation, at home in the most virtuoso and colourful works. He did, after all, win the gold medal at the celebrated International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow at the age of 21! Speaking of music, he says, "I like to live with intensity. Music, up to a certain point, is what you make of it. You have to search for it within yourself and follow the path that only it can indicate." Although the programme for his recital is not yet available, we know we can once more look forward to an outstanding evening's music.
