The Boss

12 Apr.'27

with Guy Salamon Trio

Three musicians.
Ready for adventure.
But… who will take the lead?

If no one starts, nothing happens. So someone has to take the first step. But what does that really mean: being the leader? Does that mean you’re always in front? Do you speak loudly? Or do you listen carefully instead? And what if no one wants to be the leader?

Drummer Guy and his musical friends Ton and Alistair are going on a journey. They hesitate, look at each other… Who dares? Then someone takes that first step after all. And that changes everything. Their black suits burst open with color. A special journey in which music leads the way.
In this energetic and imaginative performance, you’ll hear exciting rhythms, funny sounds, explosive jazz, and quiet moments that will almost make you hold your breath. Do you dare to take the first step?

The students can:

  • Discover what leadership means within a group and how collaboration is built
  • Explore jazz music and experience how rhythm, improvisation, and sound colors can tell a story

  • Encourage initiative, confidence, and imagination by immersing in a musical adventure
