Building Bridges - Janos Palojtay
János Palojtay is young, ambitious and bursting with talent. He was born in Budapest in 1987 and was barely five years old when he started playing the piano. At age thirteen, he was accepted by the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in the city of his birth. He has won five prizes, including second in the International Chopin Piano Competition in Budapest. Palojtay was also recently chosen by Sir András Schiff, as one of three musicians to play worldwide recitals in the 2017-2018 season as part of the Building Bridges programme.
