Alexandre Kantorow, piano
Alexandre Kantorow can always count on a good write-up from the critics, whether it be for his recitals or his albums. At just sixteen, he was invited to perform with the Sinfonia Varsovia at the Folles journées in Nantes and Warsaw. The young pianist had already played in several orchestras, such as the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra with Augustus Dumay, the Taipei Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire and the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège. “A pianist who makes you happy”, wrote French journalist Olivier Bellamy of this talented young man.
