In this creative workshop, children design and make their own shadow puppets. Inspired by the traditional characters Karagöz and Hacivat, every child brings a character to life and takes it home as a unique souvenir of the workshop. Registration is mandatory; max 4 children per person.
13:00 ⇢ 17:30 | Workshop Ebru & Arabic Calligraphy (Fumoir)
Through Ebru art, or paper marbling, you imitate marble stone by floating dyes and then having them immortalised on a paper. In various Sufi orders, Ebru is taught alongside music, calligraphy and poetry.

Turkish shadow theatre comes to life in two performances for children. After an enchanting musical journey around the (shadow) world, puppets take over and fill the stage with movement, splendour and fun to the rhythm of the spinning dervishes.
